Targeting Rp. 500 Billion Millennial Housing Financing, BSI Collaborates With Developers Owned By The Ciputra Conglomerate To Eka Tjipta Widjaja
JAKARTA - PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) is targeting the value of housing financing for BSI Griya Simuda products, which targets the millennial customer segment to reach IDR 500 billion for the initial stage.
President Director of BSI Hery Gunardi, through a written statement in Jakarta, Friday, May 7, said that the millennial segment is a very potential ecosystem for Islamic banking.
"So that the products and services provided should be able to adapt to the needs of millennials and the changing times," he said as quoted by Antara.
This BSI Griya Simuda product, said Hery, is a follow-up to the company at the direction of President Joko Widodo when launching BSI some time ago. At that time, President Jokowi asked BSI to be able to attract millennials, who currently number 25.87 percent of the total population of Indonesia.
"We hope that this new product will be able to encourage the achievement of the BSI Griya Hasanah financing target, where the portion of the BSI Griya SiMuda financing target for this initial stage is IDR 500 billion," said Hery.
With an extensive network of BSI branch offices, said Hery, it is hoped that the financing target can be achieved.
As of March 2021, BSI has distributed Griya Hasanah financing of IDR 38 trillion, or grew by 13.93 percent (year on year) so that the launch of BSI Griya Simuda is expected to be able to accelerate the target of BSI Griya Hasanah until the end of 2021.
BSI Griya Simuda has a financing ceiling of up to 120 percent higher, flexible installments, an installment period of up to 30 years, and a zero percent down payment.
To finance this millennial housing segment, BSI is also working with property developers such as Perumnas, Ciputra, Jaya Real Property, Sinar Mas Land, Metropolitan Land, Summarecon and other leading developers.
