Kompolnas Regarding The Results Of The Title Of Special Cases Of Jokowi's Diplomas: According To Procedures, Kredible Substances
Commissioner of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) Choirul Anam assessed that the process of holding a special case related to the alleged fake diploma of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), had complied with the procedure.
The Bureau of Wassidik Polri is known to issue a Notification Letter on the Development of Dumas Handling (SP3D) Number: 14657/VII/RES.7.5/2025/BARESKRIM. Its contents state that the investigation is terminated by the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) in accordance with applicable regulations.
"I think what we have followed until the end is that the procedure is in accordance with the procedure, and the substance is credible," Anam told reporters quoted on Thursday, July 31.
Kompolnas is one of the parties involved in the process of holding the special case. In addition, there are also Itwasum Polri, Propam Polri, and Divkum Polri.
Still regarding the results of the special case title, Jokowi's attorney, Rivan Kusumanegara stated that the chaos regarding the alleged fake diploma of his client had been completed. So there is no need to be questioned continuously.
"So the purpose of the authenticity of this diploma has been completed, especially with the strengthening of various commissions and state institutions that follow the process of holding the special case," said Rivan.
According to him, the results of the investigation conducted by the Dittipidum Bareskrim have declared Jokowi's original diploma. Then, it was strengthened by the results of the special case title by the Bareskrim Wassidik Bureau.
Moreover, in the process of holding a special case requested by the Ulama Defenders Team and Activists (TPUA), various parties were followed, starting from Commission III of the DPR, Kompolnas, Komnas HAM, Ombudsman, Itwasum Polri, Propam Polri, and Divkum Polri.
"The point is that the termination of the investigation by the Ditreskrimum Bareskrim is appropriate, both in terms of procedural, substantial and material cases," he said.
Meanwhile, the Defenders Team for Ulama and Activists (TPUA) stated that the Wassidik Bureau's decision was not in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) and the National Police Chief Regulation (Perkap).
"That the termination of the investigation on May 22, 2025, which was confirmed in the SP3D on July 25, 2025 based on the reasons 'It is in accordance with applicable legal provisions', is not true, because it is not in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code and Perkapolri," said Deputy Chairperson of TPUA, Rizal Fadillah.
According to him, there are several things that are considered to have caused the special case title process not to comply with the provisions. Rizal said that one of them did not drain the forensic test from the original diploma.
"The incompleteness of the title participants where the complainant and the reported party were not invited, the investigation was not completed, did not carefully reveal the data, did not show Joko Widodo's documents or diplomas, and did not break down Jokowi's thesis and diploma forensic test was proof that the termination of the investigation was not in accordance with applicable regulations," said Rizal.
