Sri Mulyani And Bahlil Establish Data Exchange Cooperation To Increase State Revenue
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) are collaborating in data exchange to increase state revenue.
Deputy Minister of Finance Anggito Abimanyu explained that this collaboration involved the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) with the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal (Minerba) and the Special Task Force for the Implementation of Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas).
"We are collaborating between the DGT and the Director General of Mineral and Coal and also the DGT with SKK Migas in order to exchange data, exchange information, joint analysis, to joint collection," he said, Thursday, July 31.
Meanwhile, the cooperation agreement was officially signed by the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani and Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia on the same day.
In addition to discussing data cooperation, the meeting also followed up on President Prabowo Subianto's directives regarding the acceleration of village electricity programs.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia said that currently there are still around 5,700 villages, 4,400 hamlets, and a number of other points that have not been electrified.
"We are following up on the President's direction regarding the village electricity program. Currently, there are around 5,700 villages, 4,400 hamlets, and 68 other points that have not been electrified," he said.
Bahlil emphasized that the target must be realized within five years, in accordance with President Prabowo Subianto's direction.

So that the implementation target can be started immediately, he asked the Ministry of Finance to prepare a budget to complete the provision of electricity facilities in villages.
"Look, it is not an additional budget request that the budget must be prepared for village electricity," he said.
However, he is still reluctant to specify the amount of the budget needed to realize the program.
"It's still there, but to talk about it in the long term so that we want a comprehensive plan that is measurable and should not be repeated again. Don't use village electricity as a constant issue. We want to solve it well," he explained.
"(The budget) will be discussed later," he added.
