Public Prosecutor Cecar Regarding Nikita Mirzani's 'Sumpel Money', Dr. Oky Pratama Denies Relaxing

JAKARTA - Doctor Oky Pratama gave a tough testimony before the Public Prosecutor (JPU) in a follow-up hearing at the South Jakarta District Court.

When questioned about his role in suggesting Reza Gladys to give some money to Nikita Mirzani, Oky Pratama firmly denied the allegations.

"Yesterday, he explained that there was a problem to suggest to Reza again to give some money to (Nikita Mirzani)?" said the Public Prosecutor at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday, July 31.

"Nothing," replied Oky Pratama firmly.

Oky then explained that his actions in giving Ismail Marzuki (Mail) contact to Reza Gladys was purely to facilitate the meeting. According to him, Reza Gladys herself took the initiative to meet Nikita Mirzani that night.

"Regarding that (Give Mail contact to Reza Gladys), I spoke with the previous prosecutor's evidence because Reza Gladys already knew that Nikita Mirzani did not want to meet anyone carelessly," he said.

"And meeting him must be certain as explained earlier and Reza Gladys first said 'ky, if you meet Niki tonight, can you not think about you too?'," continued Oky Pratama.

He added that giving the contact number was a response to Reza's question about the best way to arrange the meeting.

"And also Reza Gladys said at 17.56 she chatted me, 'how good?' Therefore I gave Mail's number to make sure it was for Nikita Mirzani's schedule," he continued.

However, the Public Prosecutor then read out evidence of a conversation that seemed to corner Oky Pratama, where Reza Gladys seemed to ask about the nominal estimate.

"On the same day, on October 27, you told the doctor Reza Gladys, 'Just chat that she is Niki's replacement. Just say that you want to stay with Niki'. Then, 'if everything is finished, tell me what day you met, don't make it impromptu and try to think about what he said first'," said the Public Prosecutor.

"Then Reza Gladys said to you saying Oky, 'Can I ask for help or not, how much is the estimate so that I have an idea?'?" said the Public Prosecutor.

Faced with this evidence, Oky Pratama gave a completely unexpected answer. He claimed that the discussion of the 'how much estimate' was not related to the money for Nikita Mirzani, but about the salary of a manager.

"Yes, it's about the salary from the Manager of the RnB product that I have said. The salary from discussing there is a discussion about the RnD product manager and how much the salary is so that our products are good and so that we always check the quality control of products," explained Oky Pratama.

"Because what I said earlier, Reza Gladys often talked about her clinical problems, about everything," he said.

At the previous trial, according to Reza Gladys's testimony, dr. Oky Pratama then gave a specific suggestion regarding Nikita Mirzani. He advised Reza to meet and give some money.

"Then dr. Oky Pratama told me to do it, 'if you go to a tea detective doctor, I don't know, if you go to Nikita, you have to meet her, you have to put your mouth on with money'," he continued.

After giving this suggestion, dr. Oky Pratama is said to have directed Reza Gladys to contact the defendant, Ismail Marzuki.

"Permission to continue, Your Honor, then dr. Oky Pratama told me to contact the defendant, namely Ismail Marzuki," said Reza Gladys.
