Minister Of Religion Nasaruddin Umar Condolences For The Death Of Suryadharma Ali
Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar expressed his deep condolences for the death of c, the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2009 period 2014 period, on Thursday, July 31 at 04.18 WIB at Mayapada Hospital, Jakarta.
"Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un. I, on behalf of myself and the extended family of the Ministry of Religion, express my deepest condolences for the death of Mr. H. Suryadharma Ali," said Minister of Religion Nasaruddin in Jakarta, Thursday, July 31.
Nasaruddin remembers the deceased as a dedicated figure in strengthening national religious governance.
During his tenure as Minister of Religion, Suryadharma Ali was known to be active in strengthening religious institutions, improving madrasas and Islamic boarding schools education services, and carrying out various bureaucratic reform efforts within the Ministry of Religion.
"He plays an important role in modernizing the implementation of the pilgrimage, including digitizing Hajj services which are the foundation for the transformation of Hajj today," said the Minister of Religion.
"His work in building dialogue between religious believers should also be remembered as part of efforts to maintain national harmony," he added.
Minister of Religion Nasaruddin also briefly became Deputy Minister of Religion in the era of Suryadharma Ali's leadership.
