Bandung Police Raid Houses That Save 1.4 Million Hard Drugs

The Bandung Police Narcotics Investigation Unit raided a house in the Batununggal Indah complex area, Bandung City, which is used as a storage area for 1.4 million pills of various types.

Bandung Police Chief Kombes Budi Sartono said the disclosure was the result of the development of the previous raid in the Mekarwangi area which was carried out on Sunday (27/7).

"Alhamdulillah, we managed to uncover again the network or gang of the DPO (wanted list) in one of the houses in Batununggal. We have secured approximately 1,434,000 hard drugs," Budi said in Bandung, Wednesday, July 30, as reported by ANTARA.

During the raid in Batununggal, the police also arrested one suspect with the initials IB who was suspected of being part of a network of drug trafficking that was previously uncovered.

"This is behind me the suspect's initials IB, it's a gang of DPOs that we are pursuing. So when we did the raid, thank God the suspect was still there and we were able to arrest him," he said.

Based on the results of an interim investigation, the network allegedly wants to spread limited hard drugs to the Bandung City area and its surroundings in West Java.

Previously, on Sunday (27/7) the Narcotics Unit of the Bandung Polrestabes raided a house in the Mekar Wangi Complex area, Bandung City, as a storage area for 1.2 million pills of illegal hard drugs.

Budi said the disclosure began with the arrest of a hard drug dealer who followed the suspect into the house where the storage was located.

"It turns out that in this house, approximately 1,271,700 pills were found consisting of Trihexyphenidyl, Tramadol, Double Y, Heximer, Dextro, and Nexax," he said.
