Indonesian Rock Climbing Athlete Ravianto Wins Silver Medal In France

JAKARTA The Indonesian rock climbing athlete number boulder, Ravianto, managed to bring home a silver medal from the 2025 Tout a Blocs national boulder tournament which took place in France.

Tout a Blocs 2025 will be held on July 24-26, 2025 at the L'Argentiere-la-Bessee rock climbing arena, near Briancon, France.

This tournament is known as one of the largest boulder championships in France, which in annual events can attract thousands of participants and spectators.

"I am very grateful to be able to take part in a prestigious tournament in France, to become an athlete from Indonesia who can feel the atmosphere of the tournament here and can bring home a medal," said Ravianto.

This tournament is unique in its international open format. This format brings together amateur and professional athletes.

This allows all participants to share experiences, meet new people, and enjoy time together.

Ravianto expressed his appreciation to the route-producing team (route series) for the challenging and extraordinary routes and to the audience who continue to encourage non-stop.

"The atmosphere there is extraordinary, with the support of fellow climbers, spectators, and the judges. This is an unforgettable experience," said Ravianto.

Deputy Chairperson of the Central Board of the Indonesian Rock Climbing Federation (PP FPTI), Herry Heryyawan, said that this success is a clear proof of the dedication and potential of Indonesian rock climbing athletes.

"This is a great motivation for all athletes and rock climbing development in the country to continue to make achievements in the international arena," he said.
