KPK Ultimatum BPR Credit Manager Benta Tesa Kooperative Responds To Calls
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked BPR Credit Manager Benta Tesa to fulfill the investigator's summons. Anyone representing is asked to cooperate in the next schedule.
This was conveyed by the KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo, who initially said that BPR Credit Manager Benta Tesa did not fulfill the summons on Monday, July 28. This examination is said to be important to investigate allegations of corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) for the 2019-2022 period.
"The examination (should have been carried out at the KPK's Merah Putih building on behalf of BPR Credit Manager Benta Tesa," Budi told reporters, Wednesday, July 30.
Budi said investigators immediately summoned again the party representing the BPR Credit Manager Benta Tesa. "And if it is still not present then it is possible to present it forcibly in accordance with applicable regulations," he said.
Previously reported, the KPK named four suspects for alleged corruption in business cooperation (KSU) and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara by PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero).
They are former President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Ira Puspadewi; former Director of Planning and Development, Harry MAC; and former Commercial and Service Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), Muhammad Yusuf Hadi; and Adjie as the owner of PT Jembatan Nusantara.
Ira, Harry, and Yusuf Hadi have now been tried at the Jakarta Corruption Court. They were charged with causing state financial losses of Rp. 1,253,431,651,169 or Rp. 1.25 trillion.
