Morgan Oey Jalin Gathering With Street Children For The Sake Of The Role In The Film Who He Is
Actor Morgan Oey has again shown his totality in acting. In order to explore the role of street boy in the musical film Who is He, he not only conducts in-depth research, but also reveals a 'secret' that he has lived for seven years.
To build his character, Morgan admitted that he already had a 'bank experience' because he had several meetings with the street children community before the project started.
"Oh, I happened to have had several times there in touch with street children. For example, there was a moment of breaking the fast, that's why I came," said Morgan Oey in the Central Jakarta area, Tuesday, July 29.
This experience became valuable capital for him to understand the motivation and what street children are looking for in life.
"So I have enough experience bank to know what their motivation is, then what they are looking for in life is. So yes, I just took a little bit, so I consulted with Mas Garin as a director, so we have sewed together," he continued.

However, the real challenge comes when he has to combine acting with singing and dancing skills. It was at this moment that Morgan made a surprising confession.
"Actually, yes, before, I did it while dancing for 7 years, surprise. But this time it might be new because there is also an acting element," explained Morgan Oey.
Despite having a background as a singer and dancer, he feels his role this time is very different. The character of the street children he plays makes him afraid to be wrong in interpreting the essence of this character.
"Then yes, that was it, the character is also very significant, the street children are like that. So they are afraid to deviate a little, they are afraid of something wrong. If it's a little less, they are afraid of the essence of it," he explained.
In the end, the biggest challenge is how to design a character named Samo so that he can appear intact and trusted by the audience.
"So yes, I mean the challenge is more to design character, so that Samo is confident. Hopefully Samo will become a complete character in the film," he said.
The film 'Who's He' will start airing on August 28 featuring talented actors such as Nicholas Saputra, Monica Tahalea, Joanna Alexandra to Ariel Tatum.
