Gerald Vanenburg Apologizes For Failing To Bring Indonesia U-23 To The 2025 AFF U-23 Cup Champion, Looking At The Next Important Agenda

JAKARTA - The U-23 Indonesian national team coach, Gerald Vanenburg, apologized for failing to bring the winning team in the 2025 AFF U-23 Cup. In the match which was held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday, July 29, 2025, WIB night, Garuda Muda lost 0-1 to Vietnam U-23.

Vanenburg apologized and then expressed his apologies during the final session of the press conference after the final match.

"Thank you everyone. I apologize for this (loss)," said Gerald Vanenburg.

On this occasion, the Dutch coach also did not forget to thank him for the support that continues to be given by supporters. Moreover, in this final, 35,592 supporters were recorded at the stadium.
