Rental Kampung Susun Bayam Rp1.7 Million Per Month, Partly Already Sign Contract

JAKARTA - Some residents of the former Kampung Bayam have signed a residential rental contract for Kampung Susun Bayam (KSB) located in the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) area with the BUMD PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro).

In the contract of the agreement, KSB occupancy is charged a rental fee of Rp. 1.7 million per month. However, Jakpro waived rental payments for the first 6 months.

Special Staff to the Governor of DKI Jakarta for Social Communication, Chico Hakim said, as many as 67 out of 126 families of Bayam Village residents had approved the KSB residential contract.

"Today, the majority of the residents of Kampung Bayam have signed a contract to be able to inhabit the HPPO at JIS," Chico told reporters, Wednesday, July 30.

In addition, residents of Kampung Bayam are also facilitated to work as JIS operational support with Jakarta's UMR salary, as long as they meet the applicable requirements.

Residents are also provided with supporting facilities in the form of land up to 4,000 square meters for farming residents or urban farming, including the provision of ponds for fish cultivation.

"This is a very decent residence with all supporting facilities, being able to farm, being able to cultivate fish, and even being given access if you want to work at JIS by Jakpro," explained Chico.

"This is a form of commitment from the Governor and Deputy Governor of Jakarta to improve the quality of life of all Jakarta residents without exception, including residents of the former Kampung Bayam," he added.

Currently, there are still some groups of residents of Kampung Bayam who have not signed a contract to occupy KSB as offered by Jakpro as the manager.

They are the Tani Group of Kampung Bayam Madani, which in March participated in the ceremonial handover of the key to the KSB from the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung.

Chico claimed that some of the residents would follow up to sign a residential placement contract.

"If there are still some residents of the former Kampung Bayam who have not signed the contract, they are still in the stage of studying, which I will inform in the next few days they will immediately sign," he explained.
