The Ministry Of Foreign Affairs Diplomat Had Sent An Email To The Charity Agency: The Story Of Suicide

JAKARTA - The police revealed that the Deputy Expert Diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) Arya Daru Pangayunan sent emails several times to one of the charities. Its contents, pour out the intention to end his life.

This information is known based on digital forensic results carried out on Arya Daru Pangayunan's cellphone.

"We found that the address for sending emails that are owned or used by digital evidence users is that daru_J@yahoo.com is sent to one of the charities that provides support services for people who have emotional feelings of stress and despair, including those that can cause self-temperature," said Forensic Digital Expert of the National Police. Ipda Saji Purwanto told reporters, Tuesday, July 29.

It is detailed that the email delivery occurred in two segments, precisely in the 2013 and 2021 periods.

The first segment took place from June 20, 2013 to June 20, June 20 to July 20, 2013. In that email, Arya Daru Pangayunan expressed his intention to end his life.

"The point is to tell about the reasons there is a desire to commit suicide," he said

Then, the second segment occurred from September 24 to October 5, 2021. It was said that there were several emails sent by the Foreign Ministry Diplomat.

Arya Daru Pangayunan was found dead in the 'Gues House Gondia' in the 105th room, Jalan Gondangdia Kecil, No 22, Cikini Village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, July 8.

When found, the body of Arya Daru Pangayunan was covered in plastic and duct tape in yellow.

Based on the results of the investigation, the police concluded that there was no involvement of other parties or criminal elements in the series of deaths of Arya Daru Pangayunan.

"It is concluded that the indicators rather than death rather than ADP lead to indications of death without the involvement of other parties," said the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Wira Satya Triputra.
