PSI Surprised DKI Provincial Government Buys Projectors Up To Billion Servers Above Market Prices

JAKARTA - Secretary of Commission E of the DKI Jakarta DPRD from the PSI faction Justin Adrian Untayana expressed his concern about the purchase of goods from a number of agencies while observing the APBD for changes to the 2025 fiscal year.

The procurement of goods that Justin highlighted were servers, light emitting diode (LED) lights, and projectors. Justin admitted that he had checked market prices, it turned out that the budget allocated by the DKI Provincial Government was much higher.

We have checked the specifications for this server. If you want to buy 3 units, each server (price) is IDR 1.7 billion. After we checked the specifications, the range is IDR 300 million, not IDR 1.7 billion. This is the Library Service that wants to buy 3 units," Justin said in his statement, Tuesday, July 29.

In addition, Justin also questioned why the Culture Service plans to buy LED lights at a unit price of Rp. 15 million.

"We also check the specifications for the LED light procurement on the market, the price is Rp. 1 to Rp. 3 million. However, this is the unit allocation of Rp. 15 million, far (the difference)," he said.

Not only that, Justin also admitted that he was surprised by the projectors to be used at the Maritime Museum at a price of more than Rp. 158 million. In fact, Justin emphasized that the same goods can be purchased at a price of around Rp. 50 million.

"I also want to buy 11 units of LCD Projector Culture Service at the Maritime Museum. The unit price is Rp. 158 million to Rp. 214 million with a total budget of Rp. 2.1 billion. In fact, if we check in the market, this projector may be expensive at around Rp. 50 million," he continued.

In this regard, Justin reminded the DKI Provincial Government to be sensitive to people's feelings in making purchases using tax revenues and levies.

"I hope that spending from public tax money is also used wisely with efficient values. Don't let it happen unless there are findings that can also hurt people's hearts," he added.
