The Impact Of The Park Puring Market Fire, Detainees Of The Kebayoran Baru Police Were Transferred

JAKARTA - As a result of the fire of hundreds of kiosks at Taman Puring Market, the police transferred the Kebayoran Baru Police detainees to the South Jakarta Metro Police on Monday, July 28, 2025, evening.

"The detainees of the Kebayoran Baru Police have been transferred to the Resort Police, taking into account because they are located close together," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly.

The location of the fire that hit the kiosk at Taman Puring Market is close to the Kebayoran Baru Police Headquarters. The transfer of prisoners was carried out to avoid risks.

"The main thing is to secure the crime scene and turn off the fire first, after that we are by the crime scene," he said.

Previously, it was reported that as many as 500 stalls at Taman Puring Market, Jalan Kyai Maja, RT 07/01, Kebayoran Baru District, South Jakarta, were burned to the ground on Sunday, July 28, evening.

"Temporary information, the object caught fire at approximately 500 stalls at the Taman Puring Market. The reason is still being collected," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Pusdatin, Mohamad Yohan when confirmed by VOI.

Currently, the fire extinguishing process is still being carried out by 35 Disgulkarmat fire engines.
