Taman Puring Market Burns, Corridor 13 Transjakarta Service Temporarily Stopped
PT Transjakarta has temporarily suspended bus services that crossed corridor 13 due to a fire that hit Taman Puring Market, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta.
"Koridor 13, Route 13B and Route L13E are temporarily unable to serve customers due to a fire incident around Mayestik," wrote a statement on the account X @PPT_Transjakarta, Monday, July 28.
A number of buses containing passengers crossing corridor 13 stopped due to the fire being right under the Transjakarta flyover.
"I apologize for the inconvenience," said Transjakarta.
The Taman Puring fire began at 18.00 WIB. A total of 26 fire engines were deployed to extinguish the fire. Until this news was revealed, the fire had not yet been extinguished.
"The alleged cause is still being collected," said Head of the South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. Syamsul Huda in his statement.

The DKI Jakarta Fire and Rescue Service deployed 85 officers to extinguish the fire. Joint officers also helped deal with the fire.
"It is being handled by the Disgulkarmat, P2B BPBD, PMI, AGD Health Office, Transportation Agency, Satpol PP, PLN, PSKB/Tagana Social Service personnel, Polsek personnel and Koramil personnel," he explained.
Until now, officers are still recording the estimated losses caused by the incident.
