Fariz RM's Trial Of Claims Postponed Again Until August 4

JAKARTA - The panel of judges has again postponed the reading of the charges for alleged drug abuse cases committed by senior musician Fariz RM.

During the trial, the public prosecutor stated that his party was not ready to read out the demands for this case.

"We are not ready to read out the charges," said the public prosecutor at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday, July 28.

Because of this, the panel of judges gave the public prosecutor a one-week deadline to re-preparate the demands for Fariz RM.

"The defendant, the legal adviser, is this a claim from the Public Prosecutor not ready yet. Is it enough (prosecution) for one week?" said the presiding judge.

"It should not be postponed again, it is in accordance with the AGO's SOP. We will give one more week," he continued.

The judge also decided that the trial for reading Fariz RM's demands would be postponed again until August 4.

"So for next week's demands, August 4, 2025. The trial is postponed until August 4, 2025 with the agenda of demands from the public prosecutor," said the judge.
