Coordinating Minister AHY: Strengthen Collaborative Roadmaps In Transmigration Transformation
DENPASAR - Coordinating Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Development (IPK) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) emphasized that strengthening the roadmap collaboration between the central and regional governments can realize the transformation of national transmigration.
"No one ministry is able to run alone. The Coordinating Ministry for the GPA will be the orchestrator. However, this synergy can be realized if every ministry, local government (Pemda), university, and business world play their respective roles in harmony," said Coordinating Minister AHY in a video speech at the National Transmigration Technical Working Meeting in Denpasar City, Bali, Monday, July 28.
He said the transformation of transmigration areas is the key to creating new economic centers, as well as ensuring the welfare of transmigrants and local communities goes hand in hand.
"We are building an integrated transmigration economic zone, not only through road and bridge construction, but also a living and sustainable economic and social ecosystem," said Coordinating Minister AHY.
AHY emphasized the importance of gotong royong, because infrastructure will still be built but through cross-ministerial funding synergies, cooperation with local governments, and strategic partnerships with private investors.
"We are moving from the government's pattern of financing everything towards a pattern of government leadership and mobilizing all potentials," said Coordinating Minister AHY.
His party gave high appreciation to the Ministry of Transmigration for working seriously, by opening up a room for central and regional synergy.
