The Ministry Of Creative Economy And Canva Collaborate To Improve The Digital-Based Creative Economy Sector
The Ministry of Creative Economy (Kemenkraf) officially partnered with Canva, a leading design platform, in encouraging creative digitization. This partnership was officially agreed on Monday, July 28.
Through this partnership, the Ministry of Creative Economy and Canva will work together in providing various workshops. This event will teach its participants in using Canva for business needs or other jobs in the creative sector.
"There is monthly training, whether for ministry personnel who use Canva or associations, even directly to users or designers. This collaboration is important so that design activists are more familiar with the Canva platform," said Minister of Creative Economy, Teukur Riefky Harsya, when met after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Teuku explained that this partnership is in line with their priorities, namely increasing talents in the creative economy. The hope is that this partnership can also encourage job opening.
"This is also part of helping create jobs," said Teuku. "Many young people want to (get) easy access and improve their ability to use digital platforms, especially those who are user friendly and have an impact on their income."
In addition to providing workshops, this partnership also includes providing special price for Canva subscriptions for creative economy activists. This partnership will certainly run for the next three years.
