Accident On Bakauheni Section Flying Trans Sumatra Toll Road Due To Pnegemudi Ngantuk
JAKARTA - The Lampung Regional Police (Polda) said that the traffic accident (traffic) on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road of the Bakauheni Section, Terbanggi Besar, on Sunday, July 27, was caused by the driver of the sleepy deer Innova.
"The accident involving Hino's truck with police number BG 8561 OI and Toyota Kijang Innova with the B 1409 ERT plate killed two people," said Head of PJR Ditlantas Polda Lampung, AKBP Indra Gilang Kusuma, at the Lampung Police Headquarters, Monday, July 28, confiscated by Antara.
He explained, based on CCTV footage at the location, the black Toyota Kijang Innova driven by Zulham Yohanes (51), a resident of Cimanggis, drove from Terbanggi Besar to Bakauheni in the fast lane (lanjur II).
"When he arrived at KM 38+200 B, the driver allegedly fell asleep and lost control and hit the back of the Hino BG 8561 OI truck which was stopped on the shoulder of the road," he said.

He revealed that the final position of the two vehicles that had an accident was on the shoulder of the road with normal conditions facing the south.
"Two victims died, respectively, Muhammad Harits (25) and Badii Uzzaman (29), both students from Cimanggis," said di.
Meanwhile, two seriously injured victims, namely Yahya Mursyid Robbani (25) and Muhammad Naufal Harits (25). The Innova driver, Zulham Yohanes, suffered minor injuries.
"The condition of the Toyota Innova vehicle was badly damaged at the front," he said.
He explained that after the incident, Highway Patrol officers (PJR), the Bravo Toll Patrol, and the medical team immediately went to the location to evacuate the victims, secure evidence, and unravel the flow of traffic.
"The vehicle evidence was taken to the West Tegineneng Toll Gate Office, while the report has been forwarded to the South Lampung Police Traffic Unit," he said.
