PT Food Station And Five Other Corporates Examined Regarding Oplosan Rice Cases

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) will examine six corporations in investigating the alleged circulation of mixed rice today. Of these witnesses, one of them is PT Food Station.

"That's right, today 6 PTs will be checked," said Head of the AGO, Anang Supriatna to VOI, Monday, July 28.

The examination of the six corporations will be carried out by the Corruption Crime Handling and Settlement Task Force Team (P3TPK).

The examination will be carried out at the Round Building at the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidus), at around 09.00 WIB.

However, Anang has not been able to confirm the presence of representatives of the six corporations on today's summons for inspection.

Only detailed about the corporations invited to provide information, namely. PT Wilmar Padi Indonesia; PT Food Station; PT Belitang Panen Raya; PT Unifood Candi Indonesia; PT Subur Jaya Indonesia; and PT Sentosa Utama Lestari.

"That's right, one of them is PT Food Station," said Anang.

The investigation into the alleged circulation of mixed rice is known to be a follow-up to President Prabowo Subianto's order to take action against fraud in the form of large price manipulation with premium label mode.

"The Prosecutor's Office as law enforcers is ready to follow up on the direction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia," said Anang.

The follow-up to the order was to coordinate and collaborate with other law enforcement officers. Even with the relevant ministries.

Exchange of information and others will be carried out to eradicate unscrupulous businessmen who deceive the public with their fraudulent practices.

"Where in its implementation we will communicate, coordinate and collaborate with related parties such as the Police, the Ministry of Agriculture and other parties related in accordance with their duties and authorities," said Anang.
