Krakatau Steel Records Revenue Of IDR 7.48 Trillion In The Second Quarter Of 2025
JAKARTA - PT Krakatau Steel (Persero) Tbk recorded revenue of US$460.83 million or equivalent to Rp7.48 trillion based on the financial statements in the second quarter of 2025. Krakatau Steel also posted a gross profit of US$33.97 million or around Rp551.3 billion, with a gross profit margin of 7.37 percent.
Krakatau Steel's operational performance shows improvement in efficiency, as reflected in a 16 percent decrease in operating expenses to 47.6 million US dollars or Rp772.8 billion compared to the same period the previous year. This shows Krakatau Steel's commitment to improving the cost structure and increasing productivity," explained the President Director of Krakatau Steel, Akbar Djohan, in his statement, Sunday, July 27.
Akbar also said that despite the challenges from the non-operational side, including financial burdens and investment returns from associates, Krakatau Steel continues to take strategic steps to strengthen its financial fundamentals and maintain asset stability which has increased slightly by 0.61 percent to 2.91 billion US dollars or Rp47.27 trillion as of June 30, 2025.
