Full Of Diversity, Guardians Of The Formula And Tatami Film Releases On KlikFilm

JAKARTA - KlikFilm again presents a choice of quality films for film fans who enjoy International festival films. Tatami from directors Guy Nattiv and Zar Amir Ebrahimi and Guardians of the Formula by Dragan Bjelogrli Badminton can be seen in Indonesia.

The film Tatami, which is the collaboration of two directors from Israel and Iran, captures the story of the diplomatic struggle of the two countries in a diplomatic conflict.

This collaboration resulted in a inspiring film and the airing of the 80th Venice International Film Festival and won the Brian Award, before winning Special Jury Prize and Best Actress for Zar Amir Ebrahimi at the 36th Tokyo Film Festival.

Personally, these two directors also had outstanding awards, namely Guy Nattiv (Academy Award Winner for Skin) and Zar Amir (Cannes Film Festival Best Actress Winner for Holy Spider)

Tatami recounted that Iran's female judo athlete and her coach Maryam faced a major dilemma when they were banned from competing against Israeli athletes at the World Championships. The threat to her family, pressure from the government, and conflict with herself forcedester to choose between subject to power or choosing her own path.

In addition, there is the film Guardians of the Formula which tells the story of a scientific tragedy at Vin Khacaya Nuclear Institute, 1958 where a group of scientists experienced radiation exposure amid ongoing state projects.

This film by Dragan Bjelogrlixi was based on the novel The Case of Vin Shagka by Goran Mila Milinoviul. Scientists who are dying are secretly sent to the Curie Clinic in Paris, where Professor Georges Mathé transplants the first bone cord between donors and recipients who are not related to a milestone in the medical world.

Guardians of the Formula won two prestigious awards at the Locarno Film Festival 2023: Variety Award for the best films in the Piazza Grande and Green Leopard Award programs for their strong social messages. The film was also watched by more than 100,000 viewers in Serbian cinemas in a short time.

Two films with different stories prove that stories from various countries highlight human abilities in dealing with world conflicts.

The film Tatami and Guardians of the Formula will air on KlikFilm starting August 1, 2025.
