Child Death Due To Death Continues To Increase In Gaza

JAKARTA - Five more children have died in Gaza due to malnutrition and hunger. This adds to the number of child deaths in the midst of a hunger crisis due to the cessation of aid supplies.

The Director General of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Dr. Munir al-Boursh, said two of those who died in the last 24 hours were children whose fragile bodies were unable to withstand hunger.

The Ministry of Health stated that this latest death brought the death toll from hunger to 127 since the conflict began, including 85 children.

"This is a real life lost in silence and the world remains silent with shame," al-Boursh said.

Reported by CNN, a six-month-old Palestinian baby, Zeinab Abu Halib, died in his mother's arms in Gaza due to severe malnutrition on Friday, one of the latest victims of a crisis that has sparked international outrage but continues to deteriorate.
