Hutama Karya Optimistic That The Construction Of A Cancer Building In Manado Can Be Completed In 2026
JAKARTA - PT Hutama Karya (Persero) or HK together with PT Tigamas Mitra Selaras (HK-3imas JO) continue to strive to accelerate the completion of the construction project for the Integrated Cancer Service Building at Dr. Kandou Manado.
It was noted that until mid-July 2025, the progress of the construction of the project had reached 18 percent with important milestones in the form of resolving the casting of the radiotherapy bunker area.
Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim is optimistic that the project completion target in June 2026 can still be achieved.
"In the next 3-4 months, Hutama Karya will focus on completing structural work which is the most critical phase in terms of the potential for dust to emerge," said Adjib in a written statement quoted on Saturday, July 26.
It is known, the Integrated Cancer Service Building project at Dr. Kandou will be the first integrated cancer facility in Manado City that can improve health services, especially in handling cancer for the people of North Sulawesi.
Integrated Cancer Service Building RSUP Dr. Kandou will consist of 12 floors of the upper structure and 1 semi-basement floor with complete facilities.

Until July 2025, the project has absorbed dozens of local workers and helped the surrounding community through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program in the form of distributing sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha and increasing MSMEs.
According to Adjib, the presence of the building will later emphasize the function of Dr. Kandou as a Type A referral hospital for cancer sufferers in North Sulawesi Province.
"We are committed to completing development not only on time, but also by maintaining environmental quality," he concluded.
