Bus Overturned In Peru, 15 Dead

JAKARTA - A total of 15 people died and 20 others were injured when passenger buses rolled over in Tarma province in Peru.

"Unfortunately we recorded 15 fatalities in the incident involving the company [transportation] Molina. We are currently coordinating with the Police to identify them and 27 injured people evacuated to the hospital," said Tarma's head of health network, Aldo Tineo, as reported by ANTARA from Sputnik-OANA, Saturday, July 26.

The bus was carrying a total of 66 passengers and was on its way from the capital Lima to the Junin region when it rolled over in the Shig Shag area, Tineo explained.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
