Ben Stiller Creates Documentary Films For His Parents, Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost

Actor Ben Stiller is preparing a documentary in collaboration with Apple. A documentary film entitled Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost will focus on his parents, Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara.

"I feel lucky to be working again with an amazing team on Apple TV+, this time for a very personal project for me and my family," Ben Stiller said in a statement.

"It's very enthusiastic to finally be able to share with the audience and great honor to celebrate my parents, both of whom I grew up and I got to know them in various new ways through the making of this film," he said.

Jerry and Meara were comedy stars who became duo before deciding to solo in their 70s. Jerry Stiller starred in series such as King of Queens and Seinfeld.

Meara is also active in starring in several series, including Oz and Sex and the City. The story of their development as a figure and partner will be the main focus in this film.

Ben Stiller also had time to act with his parents. The three of them appeared in the film Heavyweights in 1995. Meara also appeared in the film Night at the Museum in 2006.

Jerry Stiller also appeared in the film Zoolander in 2016. Jerry and Meara married in 1954 and have two children, namely Amy Stiller and Ben Stiller.

Anne Meara died in May 2015, while Jerry Stiller died in May 2020.

This documentary is Ben Stiller's second collaboration with Apple TV +. Previously, he was the executive producer and director for the Severance series which was one of the hits on the platform.

The documentary Stiller & Meara: Nothing is Lost will hit theaters before it releases on Apple TV+ on October 24.
