Toddler Victims Of Obscenity In Makassar, East Jakarta, Lured By New Shoes

JAKARTA - The perpetrator of abuse against a girl with the initials A (4) in the Makasar area, East Jakarta, launched her action with the lure of buying new shoes.

"The suspect's modus operandi is to lure the victim, which is to give new shoes to the victim and also some money," said Head of the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Reskrim) AKBP Dicky Fertoffan during a press conference at the East Jakarta Metro Police Headquarters, Friday.

Perpetrator O (50) admitted that he was provoked to commit the indecent act after watching pornographic videos on his cellphone.

"In addition, this suspect often watches adult films, so he seems to be aroused when he sees the victim," said Dicky.

Dicky explained that the perpetrators carried out the action at his home, namely in the Makasar area, East Jakarta (Jaktim).

"At that time, sexual abuse was carried out at his home with the door locked from the inside and the suspect also threatened the victim not to tell anyone," he said.

When lured by new shoes, the perpetrator took the victim to his house. Then, it was discovered that the grandmother checked the crime scene (TKP) directly.

After being banged on several times, the door to the house was just opened. The perpetrator and the victim were actually inside the house.

"The victim's grandmother, who was told by the witness, immediately went to the suspect's house and was right after being banged into the house, where the perpetrator and suspect were found," said Dicky.

The perpetrator of harassment against a girl with the initials A (4) in the Makasar area, East Jakarta, has been arrested by the police after being handed over directly by his family.

The police received a report of alleged child abuse against a neighbor on Tuesday (22/7). The incident occurred on Saturday (19/7) at around 17.00 WIB.

The alleged violation refers to Article 76E Jo. Article 82 of Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection.

"The threat is a maximum imprisonment of 15 years and/or a maximum fine of Rp. 5 billion," he said.
