The Number Of The Poor In Indonesia Is Down, The Government Is Targeting As Small As Possible

Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi responded to the announcement of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) which stated that the number of extreme residents fell to only 2.38 million people or 0.85 percent.

This was conveyed by Prasetyo Hadi at the State Palace Complex, Jakarta, July 25.

This figure is the lowest record in the last two decades. According to Prasetyo Hadi, this achievement is still not enough. Prasetyo said the government continues to work hard so that the poverty rate is as small as possible.
