Palace: The Meaning Of US Use Of Indonesian Data Is Not True

JAKARTA - Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi straightened out the news that the United States could access the personal data of Indonesian citizens (WNI) due to the trade agreement between Indonesia and the United States.

This was conveyed by Prasetyo Hadi at the State Palace, Jakarta, Friday, July 25. Previously, Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto had also explained this matter.

According to Prasetyo Hadi, there is a data-based platform collaboration between Indonesia and the United States, there is a possibility that Indonesia will enter data such as email, but that does not mean it is interpreted as submitting data to the United States.

Prasetyo Hadi emphasized that the cooperation was actually to ensure the security of the data of each country.
