Deputy Minister Of Industry Suddenly Asks Campus To Be Involved In Developing Domestic Industry, What's Up?
Deputy Minister of Industry (Wamenperin) Faisol Riza asked campuses in the country to be involved in developing domestic industries.
This needs to be done because currently foreign countries are competing to strengthen their domestic industries. Moreover, recently the President of the United States (US) has issued a new trade policy which is believed to have an impact on the global world.
"I want to invite industryists from campuses not to get tired of helping the government, becoming partners from the government, becoming partners from industry, to become part of national industrial development," said Faisol in his remarks at the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) Potential Domestic Railway Development which was monitored online through the Ministry of Industry's YouTube, Friday, July 25.
According to Faisol, only campuses can provide direction to domestic industries to be able to meet the needs of national industrial development.
"I am willing, I will work hard to help campuses to be able to finance various kinds of research, various kinds of trials that are intended to help the industry. They will try to become campus partners, helping so that development and research on campus can continue," he said.

In fact, the politician from the National Awakening Party (PKB) will convey to President Prabowo Subianto to be able to pay more serious attention to campuses throughout Indonesia.
The Deputy Minister of Industry assessed that this needs to be done in order to strengthen the domestic industry and national industrial development.
"Don't worry, I will definitely help hard. Including, tapping the hearts of the President (Prabowo) so that his attention to campuses, his attention to industries that are currently getting bigger, can deepen the role of campuses in industrial development," he concluded.
