Lose Thousands Of Users, Starlink Experiences Global Network Outage
JAKARTA Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet network, known for its service speed, is experiencing problems globally. This problem causes network outages that harm many users.
According to Downdetector records, as reported by Reuters, this problem occurred on Friday, July 25 at around 02.00. This blackout caused tens of thousands of users to lose the network. Downdetector also noted that 61.000 reports came in.
After thousands of users complained about problems with their Starlink network, the company confirmed the existence of interference through the X Starlink account. The company stated that, 'we are actively implementing solutions'.
About 2.5 hours after the network outage occurred, some of Starlink's services were successfully restored. Michael Nicolls, Vice President of Engineering Starlink, revealed that this problem occurred due to a failure in the main component.
"The damping occurred due to the failure of the main internal software service that operates the core network," said Nicolls. Starlink also stated that they had resolved the problem well.

This is a rare annoyance. So far, Starlink has never had any problems with its network and users always get a quick signal because its connectivity comes directly from satellites in low-Earth orbit.
The speed of the Starlink network is supported by the large number of satellites. Currently, the Starlink constellation contains more than 8,000 satellites. This satellite network is not only used by ordinary people, but also in the military, transportation, and other industries sectors.
