Apple News+ Audio Finally Coming To The UK, Canada, And Australia

JAKARTA - Apple News+ audio service has finally expanded to the UK, Canada and Australia after five years of being only available in the US. Apple has again shown its habit of releasing new features first for users in the United States before expanding them to other countries.

This time, Apple News+ Audio, a feature that allows users to listen to news instead of reading it, is finally available to Apple News+ subscribers in the UK, Australia and Canada five years after its premiere in the US in July 2020.

This feature can be accessed via the button at the bottom of the Apple News app, right on the right of the "Olahraga." Users can select various articles from well-known publications such as New Scientist and Bloomberg Businessweek which are read by professional vortices.

After selecting the article, the player interface will appear at the bottom of the screen, allowing users:

- Turn back the last few seconds

- Accelerate playback

- Listen to content via Apple Podcasts (without having to open Apple News app)

Free Apple News users can also try an audio preview before subscribing.

Prices and Availability

In the US, Apple News+ subscriptions are offered for 12.99 US dollars per month or as part of the Apple One Premier package. Prices for these three new countries have not been officially announced.

Although Apple News+ Audio has finally arrived in the three countries, there are still some features that are not yet available globally. For example, puzzle games (including the recently released Emoji Game) until now can only be enjoyed by users in the US and Canada.

The expansion of this feature goes without much official announcement from Apple, suggesting that the company may focus more on developing in key markets before entering other regions.

For audio content fans, the presence of Apple News+ Audio is a new alternative to access news practically. However, for those waiting for other features such as games, you may still have to be patient.
