VOI Today: E-Commerce Is Being Hijacked, Influencers And Income Envelopes Too?

JAKARTA - The issue of the invitation envelope will be taxed for the first time by DPR Commission VI member Mufti Anam during the Raker and RDP in the DPR, Wednesday, July 23.

Mufti Anam admitted that he heard the news, as a result of the BUMN dividend which was fully managed by Danantara, no longer going into the Ministry of Finance's cash.

Responding to reports that the invitation envelope was taxed, the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance denied this.

It is known that the Ministry of Finance is boosting state revenue by imposing taxes on a number of sectors. On July 14, the government officially imposed a final income tax of 0.5 percent for MSME players who sell on e-commerce. In fact, the plan is that influencers will be taxed.

In 2024, the public will busy reject the discourse of increasing VAT to 12 percent. The question is, does the government need to make a tax regulation targeting the small people? Is it effective to increase state revenue? Check out the full information in VOI.id.
