KPK Regarding Police Identity Examined Regarding Alleged Bribery For North Sumatra Project: Former South Tapanuli Police Chief
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) revealed that the police who had been questioned were related to the alleged bribery of road construction projects at the PUPR Service and the North Sumatra PJN Satker Region 1 with the initials YA. He is said to have the rank of AKBP and had served in South Tapanuli.
"The initials are AKBP YA, the former South Tapanuli Police Chief," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 24.
Asep did not specify the material for the examination of the Bhayangkara Corps member. However, separately, the KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the examination was carried out to explore the project that led to the bancakan.
"In general, related to road construction projects in North Sumatra," Budi told reporters, Wednesday night, July 23.
In addition, AKBP YA is also called Budi to be investigated about the flow of money. "Any party, it was all traced by investigators," he said.
"So that in its development it is not only related to projects at the PJN 1 Center for North Sumatra Region and also at PUPR North Sumatra Province, yes," continued Budi.
As for this case, investigators actually summoned Muhammad Iqbal, who is the Head of the Mandailing Natal District Attorney's Office and Gomgoman Halomoan Simbolon as the Head of the Civil and State Administration Section (Datun) of the Mandailing Natal Kejari. However, both of them failed to be investigated because they were still blocked by a permit from the Attorney General's Office (AGO).
Both of them should have been examined as witnesses on Friday, July 18. The request for information was originally planned at the Medan City BPKP office.

They are Effendi Siregar's Rasul as the Head of the Old Mountain UPTD of the North Sumatra Province PUPR Service concurrently the Commitment Making Officer (PPK); Heiyanto as PPK PJN Satker Region I North Sumatra Province; M. Akhirun Efendi Siregar as the President Director of PT DNG; and M. Rayhan Dulasmi Pilang as Director of PT RN.
The Typhoon was in the spotlight because it was inaugurated as the Head of PUPR on February 24 by the Governor of North Sumatra Bobby Nasution. He previously served as Head of the Public Works Service or the Department of Water Resources, Highways and Construction Development of Medan City and had served as Acting (Plt) of the Medan City Secretary when the son-in-law of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia sat as Mayor of Medan.
