Digital Airport Service: AHY Ensures All Indonesia Applications Are Safe And Easy To Access

The Coordinating Ministry for Regional Infrastructure and Development (Kemenko IPK) has begun to test the use of the All Indonesia Application digital service system at three international airports, namely Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang), I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali), and Juanda Airport (Surabaya, East Java).

This trial was carried out to unite various services from previously separated agencies into an integrated system. This application integrates services from the Ministry of Finance (Bea Excise), the Ministry of Health, the Indonesian Quarantine Agency, and the Directorate General of Immigration.

"We are doing this trial simultaneously at three airports: Soekarno-Hatta, Juanda Surabaya, and Ngurah Rai Denpasar," said IPK Coordinating Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) after directly reviewing the trial at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Thursday.

According to AHY, the results of the review show that this integrated service system has been running according to plan. This innovation is expected to make it easier for the public to access immigration, quarantine, customs, and health services digitally in one application.

Previously there were four separate applications, now we combine them through the All Indonesia Application. This makes it easier, efficient, and improves the user experience," he explained.

For the initial stage, trials were conducted on a limited basis for Garuda Indonesia airlines for international flights. However, the government targets this application to be implemented widely after going through a refinement process.

"This trial still takes time to see the gaps in improvements. But we are optimistic that in the future this service can be implemented nationally," said AHY.

He emphasized the importance of security and data protection aspects in the application of this application. The government, he said, will continue to evaluate so that the system is truly safe and free from potential misuse of personal data.

"We must not be careless, user data must be really safe," he said.

Furthermore, AHY said that this integrated system is in line with President Prabowo Subianto's vision to make Indonesia a world-class tourist destination.

"This spirit is in accordance with the President's direction that Indonesia as a big country must have a modern and efficient public service system, especially to support tourism and investment," he said.

He is also optimistic that the All Indonesia Application can support an increase in foreign tourist visits and encourage economic growth. Based on 2024 data, the number of international passengers was recorded at 14 million people at Ngurah Rai Airport, 2.7 million at Soekarno-Hatta, and 1.5 million in Juanda.

"This figure will continue to grow along with economic growth. So, the airport service system must also advance to class," he concluded.
