Valentino Rossi's Podium Record In MotoGP Affixed By Marc Marquez
JAKARTA - Ducati racer, Marc Marquez, is getting closer to match the fantastic record set by racing legend Valentino Rossi in MotoGP. This note follows a victory that Marquez managed to secure at the Czech MotoGP 2025.
The success of securing the main podium at the Brno Circuit not only made Marc Marquez strong on the 2025 MotoGP title track. This achievement also brought him to stick to Valentino Rossi in the ranks of elite racers in terms of securing the podium.
Marc Marquez is currently listed as the second rider with the highest number of podiums, 160 times. Meanwhile, Valentino Rossi still holds the most records with a record of 235 podiums.

Although the distance from Rossi is still 75 podiums adrift, Marquez has made 160 podiums with fewer races according to the Motosan website.
"The most surprising thing is that he (Marc Marquez) got it in less racing (compared by Valentino Rossi)," wrote the Motosan website quoted Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Currently, Marquez has surpassed the lineup of motorcycle racing legends in the context of the podium. In third place is Giacomo Agostini with 159 podiums. Then Dani Pedrosa posted 153 podiums and Jorge Lorenzo 152 podiums.
As a result, Marquez is the only active racer to enter the top five with the highest number of podiums in the history of this prestigious world motorcycle racing.
With achievements that tend to increase, of course, the number of finishes in the top three or even the leading can still be won by The Baby Alien.
There are still 10 MotoGP 2025 series left. Marc Marquez is a strong candidate to win with dominance almost in the whole half of this season.
The owner of six MotoGP titles is firmly at the top of the riders' standings with 381 points. While his younger brother, Alex Marquez, is in second place with a collection of 261 points.
