GAC Opens Initial Orders For AION UT, Prices Start At IDR 300 Million
JAKARTA - GAC Indonesia brought its newest electric car ranks to the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2025, the model in question is AION UT which is here to answer the mobility needs of the younger generation and active professionals who want reliable, stylish, and technological vehicles.
Carrying the slogan 'e:XPRESS YOUR STYLE', AION UT comes for urban riders who live fast, move smartly, and never slow down. Starting from morning coffee to night driving, from casual hoodies to formal blazer suits, AION UT is a true lifestyle companion.
"In addition to having an interesting design, the presence of AION UT in Indonesia is believed to be an important moment to emphasize the positioning of this car as an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based EV with the highest technology in its class," said GAC Indonesia CEO Andry Ciu, at the launch, at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Wednesday, July 24.
Unfortunately, this car has not been officially sold, but GAC has opened pre-booking. The pre-booking price for AION UT is at IDR 330 million. This model comes in two variants starting from Standard and Premium.
AION UT comes with a wide selection of interesting colors, ranging from Emerald Green, Moonstone Silver, Lunar White, Velvet Red, and Almond Beige. Two-tone color options with white roofs are available in the Emerald Green and Velvet Red colors.

This car has a length of 4,270 mm, a width of 1,850 mm, a height of 1,575 with a wheelbase of 2,750 which has proven capable of being an EV alternative that can accommodate daily driving activities with technology that provides driving convenience.
Not only superior in terms of design, powered by cutting-edge technology, AION UT is able to cover a distance of up to 500 km in one charge. The charging process is also super fast from 30 to 80 percent in just 24 minutes with a DC fast charging type CCS2 charger.
Interestingly, AION UT is equipped with the largest HD 14.6-inch central screen in its class with Qualcomm SA8155P chip support capable of processing 105.000 orders per second for smooth and fast user experience. AION UT's smart voice command allows drivers to manage vehicles without touch with just voice commands.
For those who are curious about this car, they can see firsthand at the GIIAS 2025 exhibition, which will last until August 3.
