Owner Of Salon In Makassar Sodomy Children, Police Find Many Victims
MAKASSAR - A man who owns a salon in Makassar with the initials AA alias Fani (38) who is suspected of being a sexual predator for minors, was forced to be shot in the leg by officers while resisting when he was about to be arrested. The perpetrator previously fled from Makassar City to Barru Regency, South Sulawesi.
The perpetrator was arrested by the Makassar Police Jatanras Unit together with the Tallo Police on Tuesday, July 22 while hiding in a salon in the Barru area.
When he was about to be brought back to Makassar, the perpetrator resisted so that the officers took decisive action by shooting the perpetrator in the leg. He was then rushed to Bhayangkara Hospital for projectile removal from his leg.
Based on reports, the immoral act was carried out by the perpetrator against a boy who was shaving his hair at his salon on Jalan Pannampu, Tallo District, Makassar, on Friday (18/7/2025). The perpetrator pulled the victim into his room and sodomized him, then gave him Rp. 10,000.
"The last report that entered the Polrestabes, the victim, who was still a minor, came to want to cut his hair, then the suspect was pulled into his room, forced relations were carried out. The male victim was given Rp. 10,000," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Makassar Police, AKBP Devi Sujana, Thursday 24 July.
Until now, there are four underage boys who are known to be victims of the perpetrator's lecherous acts at his salon. Based on the confession, the perpetrator has carried out similar actions since the last two years with so many victims that he himself cannot remember for sure.
"The confession of the suspect, the victim has many and the suspect said he had forgotten," he added.
After undergoing medical treatment, the perpetrator was immediately taken to the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the Makassar Police Satreskrim for further investigation and investigation.

The police also appealed to the public, especially in the Tallo District area, to immediately report if they felt they had been victims of sexual crimes by the perpetrators.
"There were four victims from children, but we are still investigating the other victims. We will carry out an investigation," concluded Devi.
