YOGYAKARTA The grand automotive exhibition Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) was again held with great fanfare. This event was held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang from July 23 to August 3.

In GIIAS 2025, BYD, China's largest electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, introduced a new electric car called BYD Atto 1.
This car comes in two different variants, namely the price of IDR 195 million for Dynamics and Premium type for IDR 235 million.
BYD Atto 1 has two battery options, namely 30.08 kWh with a distance of 300 km, and 38.88 kWh with a distance of 380 km. In addition, this car is equipped with a 6-waterbag system, advanced braking technology, and a sturdy body structure.
After L8 is a new EV brand from Chery. This car is claimed to hit flooding up to an altitude of 600 mm or about 60 cm.
After L8 is included in the SUV category. This car is equipped with a specially designed super hybrid system and offers extraordinary fuel efficiency and longer recurrence distance.
Not only that, this car also has a wide and functional cabin. L8 can connect various family needs, ranging from suitcases, children's snacks, to wheelchairs.

China's electric car at GIIAS 2025 is the next Jetour X20e. This car became the first electric vehicle to be launched by Jetour in Indonesia.
Jetour X20e is equipped with a Lithium Ferro Phospate (LDP) battery with a capacity of 28.5 kWH or 39.33 kWH. This car is capable of generating 53 Tk of power and a maximum torque of 110 Nm.

In GIIAS 2025, Yangwang U9 was highlighted by many parties because it was able to carry out an unusual movement, namely rotating on the spot, jumping, and even dancing.
Yangwang U9 is equipped with advanced active suspending technology, so it can perform dramatic attractions without sacrificing comfort and stability while driving.
The Yangwang U9 electric car is priced at 1.68 million Yuan or around Rp. 3.8 billion. The advantage of this electric vehicle is that it can travel at speeds of up to 309 km/hour. With the drivetrain of a squad motor, Yangwang U9 can produce 1,287 horsepower, allowing acceleration of 0-100 km/hour within 2.36 seconds.
