Hasto Jalani Verdict Tomorrow, Puan Hopes For The Best

Chairman of the PDIP DPP and Chairman of the DPR, Puan Maharani, spoke briefly regarding the verdict hearing of the PDIP Secretary General (Sekjen) Hasto Kristiyanto at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Friday, July 25, tomorrow.

Puan hopes that the decision handed down by the panel of judges is the best decision for Hasto.

"The best," said Puan at the DPR building, Jakarta, Thursday, July 24.

Hasto Kristiyanto will undergo a trial to read the verdict or verdict for the alleged bribery case for the replacement of the DPR for the 2019-2024 period and the obstruction of Harun Masiku's investigation, tomorrow, Friday, July 25.

The trial for reading this decision was held after the entire judicial process, starting from the indictment, evidence, demands, to the defense, had been completed.

"After the Assembly has deliberated, we will drop the plan for the verdict on Friday, July 25, 2025," said Chief Justice Rios Rahmanto, during a trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Friday, July 18.

In this case, Hasto is known to be charged with imprisonment for 7 years. In addition, the prosecutor also demanded a fine of Rp600 million.

The fine is demanded that if it is not paid, it will be replaced with a prison sentence of 6 months.
