Vadel Badjideh's Party Admits That They Have Prepared Up To 5 Mitigating Witnesses, Including Expert Witnesses

JAKARTA - The trial of the alleged immoral act involving Vadel Badjideh continues. Today, Wednesday, July 23, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) presented an expert witness.

In the next trial, it was Vadel Badjideh's turn to file witnesses to relieve his client.

"(Today) the agenda is expert witnesses, expert witness testimony from the prosecutor," explained Oya Abdul Malik, Vadel Badjideh's attorney, on Wednesday, July 23.

Oya Abdul Malik as the attorney stated that his party was fully ready to present their witnesses at the next trial.

"(Witnesses from Vadel Badjideh) have been prepared. It is very ready," he said.

Although still keeping the identities of the witnesses a secret, Oya gave a little leak about the number of witnesses they might present.

"(The figure of the witness) is there. How many people maybe 4, 5, we'll see," continued Oya.

With full confidence, Oya also emphasized that they would also bring expert witnesses to strengthen their client's position. He even joked about being ready to bring 'witnesses from the angel' if needed.

"Of course (there is an expert witness from Vadel). If we want there are witnesses from the angel, we want to bring them," he said.
