Chelsea Monitors Garnacho, Manchester United Lowers Valuation

JAKARTA - Chelsea is closely monitoring Alejandro Garnacho's situation at Manchester United. According to ESPN, the recruitment of the winger will depend on players leaving Stamford Bridge first.

Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson may need to be released even though the Red Devils have reduced the required transfer fee from 70 million pounds (Rp 1.5 trillion) to 40 million pounds (Rp884 billion).

Garnacho was not included in Manchester United's pre-season tour in the United States with Antony, ctional Malacia, and Jadon Sancho because he was not included in coach Ruben Amorim's plans for the new season.

Aston Villa and several Saudi Arabian Pro League clubs are also interested in getting the Argentine's signature.

Aston Villa's manager, Unai Emery, sees Garnacho as a useful player for his playing style, but Garnacho prefers to join the team that plays in the Champions League.

Garnacho's priority is to stay in the Premier League and stay in England while waiting for future certainty.

Chelsea had previously approached the winger in January 2025. Since then, they have continued to monitor the situation.
