Collaborating With Mega Energi Biru, Huawei Ready To Digitize The Electricity Sector
JAKARTA - PT Huawei Tech Investment (Huawei Indonesia) officially formed a strategic partnership with PT Mega Energi Biru Indonesia (MEBI), to accelerate the development of clean energy infrastructure and digitization of the electricity sector.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) includes cooperation in the development of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) which are expected to accelerate the achievement of renewable energy targets in Indonesia.
"By combining global Huawei technology and MEBI local knowledge, we believe we can build stronger and more sustainable energy infrastructure," said Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, President Commissioner of PT MEBI.
In line with that, Huawei Digital Power Indonesia CEO Jin Song emphasized that this partnership is part of Huawei's efforts to provide smart energy solutions and low emissions based on technological innovation.
"We welcome this collaboration to encourage the adoption of clean energy technology and achieve Indonesia's Net Zero Emission target by 2060," continued Jin Song.
Huawei is also committed to continuing to increase R&D and technical investments, as well as building charging network solutions preferred by vehicle owners, trusted by operators, and friendly to power grids.
