JAKARTA - In his testimony at the South Jakarta District Court trial, doctor Reza Gladys openly admitted that she had submitted a total of IDR 4 billion in the trial of cases of alleged threats and money laundering (TPPU).

The money, according to him, was asked by the defendant Ismail Marzuki to silence Nikita Mirzani, who at that time was aggressively giving bad reviews of him on social media.

Reza revealed that there was a threat that made him afraid that his credibility as a doctor would be destroyed. The threat was sent by Ismail Marzuki via WhatsApp message.

"'It can destroy Reza Gladys's credibility as a doctor, I guarantee!' From WhatsApp forward from Ismail Marzuki. Ismail Marzuki said, 'Nikita Mirzani, if you have spoken up, you will be listened to by high-ranking officials'," said Reza Gladys during the trial, Thursday, July 24.

"(Mail said) 'Yes, it's sad that his mouth dock (Nikita Mirzani uses money'. Ismail asked for a nominal amount of Rp 5 billion as money to support Nikita Mirzani," continued Reza Gladys.

Out of fear and fear for his reputation that has been built for decades, Reza admitted that he was trying to negotiate.

"I answered, 'if 4M what kind of mail?' Because at that time I was afraid that my credibility as a doctor would be destroyed, even though a dozen years had been built," he continued.

After the agreement was reached, the process of handing over the money was carried out in two stages. The first stage is through bank transfers and the rest in cash.

"At that time, after the call was closed, the account number was sent, I sent Rp2 M to PT Bumi Parama Wisesa, from there there must be a caption Nikita Mirzani," continued Reza Gladys.

"Then Ismail Marzuki said that if the evidence has been transferred, continue to say 'doc the rest tomorrow, it must be cash'," he said.

Reza then revealed the process of handing over the remaining cash which took place in a shopping center.

"The position is I'm waiting at a mall, waiting for my husband Friday, Mail continues to collect it from me. My husband takes the money to the bank, then we meet the rest at a restaurant at the mall. I leave the rest to Ismail Marzuki," he explained.

"Meeting at One Bellpark around 4 pm. The three of them were me, doctor witness Attaubah Mufid, and defendant Ismail Marzuki," added Reza.

After all the money was handed over, Reza admitted that Ismail Marzuki immediately connected him to Nikita Mirzani by telephone to provide a guarantee.

"At that time, Ismail called Nikita Mirzani to me, I said 'help me, don't be bad at me anymore', 'it's safe,'" he said.
