Abdul Rahim Examined By The NTB Prosecutor's Office, Admitted That He Rejected The Offer Of Money Related To The IDR 2 Billion Pokir Fund
The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) examined a member of the NTB DPRD from the PDIP faction, Abdul Rahim, regarding allegations of corruption in managing the basic thought fund (pokir) for the 2025 fiscal year.
Spokesperson for the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, confirmed that the investigation of Abdul Rahim was still under investigation by the special criminal field (pidsus).
"Yes, the person concerned was asked for information according to the summons in the field of pidsus in the alleged corruption of the NTB DPRD POkir funds," said Efrien in Mataram, Antara, Thursday, July 24.
Abdul Rahim, who is familiarly called Bram, was present alone without being accompanied by a lawyer when he fulfilled the summons for an examination at the NTB Prosecutor's Office. After the examination, at around 12.00 WITA, he confirmed that he had given a statement in front of the prosecutor's team.
"For questions, please ask the investigator," he said briefly.
He also stated that he did not bring any documents to the prosecutor. However, Bram emphasized that he consistently rejects all forms of deviant practices related to the pokir funds.
"I am brave and invite law enforcement officials to enter. I invited them to enter because I clearly emphasized it, I refused. I did not accept it," he said.
The rejection, he continued, was related to the offer of replacement money for the reduction in the allotment of poor funds for council members. However, Bram was reluctant to mention who offered and how much the nominal was promised.
"If it's a problem, go to the investigators. It's complete in the BAP there," he said.
He only explained that in the plan, there was a reduction in the allocation of poor funds from the previous Rp4 billion to Rp2 billion per member of the council.
"What is clear, what I reject is the issue of stealth money," he said.
Bram added that he fully supports the efforts of the NTB Prosecutor's Office in thoroughly investigating this issue, so that the NTB DPRD institution can again be free from issues that arise.
