Closed Meeting With Commission XI Of The DPR, Danantara Boss: There Is NDA, It Can't Be Submitted To The Public
JAKARTA - Danantara Indonesia's Chief of Executive Officer (CEO), Rosan Roeslani opened his voice regarding the inaugural working meeting of the Investment Holding, PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM) with Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives which took place behind closed doors.
He said Danantara had collaborated with various non-BUMN companies that were bound by a confidentiality agreement or non-disclosure agreement (NDA), so that the material presented in the meeting could not be submitted to the public.
Moreover, continued Rosan, a number of SOEs are also open companies, so conveying information on business strategies needs to be done carefully.
"Indeed, because this is an investment and we are also bound by NDA, namely a confidentiality agreement from other companies. So I apologize, we have not been able to explain many things, especially if this concerns public companies, we must also be very careful," he said after a working meeting with Commission XI DPR, in Jakarta, Wednesday, July 23.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Commission XI DPR RI Mukhamad Misbakhun said this inaugural meeting discussed the company's investment work plan and budget (RKAP).
According to him, this discussion has become very crucial so it is feared that it could affect the market.
Therefore, the meeting was decided to take place behind closed doors.
"Because Danantara's RKAP has a lot of investment, later we will worry about influencing and becoming a material for speculation in the market, so we design this meeting to be closed," said Misbakhun.

“Untuk menjaga jangan sampai kemudian bahan rapatnya dijadikan bahan spekulasi, dan kemudian memengaruhi harga pasar yang menimbulkan spekulasi,” tuturnya.

Misbakhun said that the decision to hold a closed meeting was also part of the efforts of Commission XI of the DPR RI to provide protection to Danantara from potential market speculation.
"To maintain it, don't let the meeting material be used as material for speculation, and then affect market prices that cause speculation," he said.
