Video Of KPK Chairman Firli Bahuri Bukber Commissioner Pelindo I Circulating, Director Of Pusako Menyindir
JAKARTA - A video of the meeting between the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri and Pelindo I Commissioner Timbo Siahaan was uploaded by the Director of the Center for Constitutional Studies (Pusako) Andalas University, Feri Amsari.
In the video, Firli is seen wearing a batik shirt without wearing a mask sitting next to Timbo and conveying a statement that all the nation's children must have the spirit and commitment to eradicate corruption.
"Because corruption is our common enemy, corruption frustrates common goals. Good luck with everyone," said Firli, as quoted from the video that Feri uploaded on his Instagram account, Thursday, May 6.
Timbo, who sat next to Firli, then explained that the two of them had just finished breaking their fast.
"We just finished breaking the fast, fasting the 13th day, thank you General," he said, greeted by Firli's laughter.
"It could," added Firli, smiling.
In the upload, Feri then made a satirical comment. He admits that he is proud of the former Deputy for Corruption Eradication of the Corruption Eradication Commission for maintaining good relations with various parties, including those who are currently litigating at the KPK.
He even said that Firli had a gentle heart and was sincere in opening friendship with anyone.
"He gently and sincerely keeps in touch with various parties, including the commissioners of Pelindo even though the Pelindo case is being handled by the KPK. Jaya, jaya, victorious the KPK is under the leadership of Mr. Firli," said Feri.
Feri also touched on President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), who was judged to be proud of seeing Firli in touch with litigants at the KPK.
"Pak Jokowi must also be very proud of you because the relationship between law enforcers and people related to the case will certainly prolong life and sustenance as taught in various values of social and religious life," he said.
"Pak Jokowi chose Pak Firli in vain. Congratulations the KPK and Indonesia, we all deserve to be proud," added Feri.
Regarding the video in circulation, Firli then spoke up. Firli admitted that he met Timbo when he met a number of media editors.
"(The meeting, red) with fellow editor in chief. I need to hear the voice of fellow editor in chief," said the former Deputy for Corruption Eradication of the Corruption Eradication Commission.
Firli said, Timbo was present in his capacity as editor in chief of a private television station. "I knew (Timbo, red) the editor in chief of JakTV. (Then) I asked him to prevent corruption," he said.
Apart from Timbo, he admitted that he met other media leaders. "Apart from Timbo, there were also several other editors from various media. I usually do this activity to make friends with the media and hear the voices of fellow journalists," he concluded.
