If The Details Of The Performance Bonus Agree, Gyokeres Will Immediately Follow Arsenal On The Pre-season Tour

JAKARTA - Arsenal are getting closer to an agreement worth around 73 million euros (Rp1.3 trillion), including bonuses, for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeeres.

ESPN reported earlier this month that the deal for Gyokeres was imminent and both sides had been involved in negotiations.

Both Arsenal and Sporting are compatible with the 73 million euro dowry. It's just a matter of Gyokeres now discussing other details.

The delay in the Swedish player's move was due to disagreements on additional performance details included in the clause.

If this has reached an agreement, Gyokeres will certainly immediately follow Arsenal who are on a pre-season tour to Asia.

The deal is likely to run quickly once the final deal is reached with Sporting as Gyokeres has approved personal terms and a five-year contract with Arsenal.

Gyokeres have scored 97 goals in 102 games for Sporting, who have won the Primeira League title twice in a row.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will face AC Milan in Singapore on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, and Newcastle on Sunday, July 27, 2025, before leaving for Hong Kong to face Tottenham Hotspur.
