Jokowi Says There Are 10 New Questions: About Dian Sandi To Orders
The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi), said that investigators had asked ten new questions during the examination process as a reporter for the alleged defamation case he reported. The question explored his relationship with PSI cadres, Dian Sandi, until there was no order.
It is known that during the examination process, investigators asked 45 questions, most of which were just repeating.
"The 35 have been questioned but reviewed again, and only 10 have questions," said Jokowi after the examination at the Surakarta Police, Wednesday, July 23.
Ten new questions were asked by investigators, one of which was related to his relationship with PSI cadre Dian Sandi until there was no order to post his diploma on social media.
"What just happened to Dian Sandi, did I know him, when did I meet him, was I the one who asked to post my diploma," he said.
Responding to the investigator's question, Jokowi explained that he had indeed met the PSI cadre. The meeting took place at his home.
Meanwhile, regarding orders, Jokowi firmly stated that he had never done it.
"Everything I answered that I met at home when Dian Sandi stayed in touch and apologized for posting my bachelor's degree diploma," he said.
"And also the second, I also did not order to post the diploma on social media, I answered as it was," Jokowi continued.
In addition, Jokowi also explained about Kasmudjo who was not a thesis supervisor. Instead, Prof. Dr. Ir Achmad Sumitro.
"Regarding the Chief Engineer Kasmudjo. I said that he was my supervisory lecturer, and won my supervisory lecturer but the thesis supervisor who won was not Kasmudjo, but Professor of Engineers Achmad Sumitro. This is just to make it clearer," said Jokowi.
For information, in handling this case, Polda Metro Jaya has raised the status of the case to the investigation stage. Because, it was found that there was a criminal element.
The decision to increase the status of the case is based on the results of a case conducted by the State Security Sub-Directorate (Kamneg) on Thursday, July 10.
