BYD Atto 1 Officially Launches At GIIAS 2025: Affordable Electric Cars With Prices Starting At IDR 190 Million

TANGERANG PT BYD Motor Indonesia officially launched its newest electric car, BYD Atto 1, at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) which was held at ICE BSD City, Tangerang.

The car, previously known as BYD Seagull in the global market, comes with the name Atto 1 for the Indonesian market, offering compact, sophisticated, and affordable urban mobility solutions.

Head of PR and Government Relations of PT BYD Motor Indonesia Luther Panjaitan, said that GIIAS is BYD's most anticipated moment, including the extraordinary attention and enthusiasm of the community.

"Even before it was officially introduced it was extraordinary to be a strong impetus for us to bring this model with enthusiasm, a model specifically designed for those with an active spirit to enjoy the pleasant driving experience of a new icon that is not only efficient but also needs character," he said, during the launch at GIIAS 2025, Wednesday, July 23.

In his presentation, it was stated that BYD Atto 1 with a futuristic design and compact dimension, Atto 1 is also designed to be agile in driving in large cities. Atto 1 comes in two variants, namely premium and dynamic. And there are 3 color choices, to touch 0 to 50 km/hour, it only takes 4.9 seconds. Regarding the distance, 380 km for premium and 300 km for the dynamic variant.

For security, BYD Atto 1 is equipped with high security standards, providing comprehensive protection through 6-airbag systems and comfortable braking features. With a sturdy and responsive body structure, this car offers optimal stability to support safe and peaceful travel on various road conditions. Interesting isn't it?

Tempting Prices

BYD Atto 1 is priced at IDR 195 million for the Dynamics variant and IDR 235 million for the Premium variant. With this price range, it makes it one of the most affordable electric cars in Indonesia.
